Description:
Cast gold figurative pendant. Mythical crocodile in the shape of a fang. The figure is composed of three elements: the head and upper extremities represented in frontal view, and the rest of the body which is represented in dorsal view and stylized in the form of a fang. Its eyes are large, round and protrude from their orbits; the mouth is large and open, the teeth show and it reveals a short and wide tongue, unusual in style; the nose curls inwards and the ears are half spirals. The headdress is a band formed by two smooth strips with another in the middle divided into ten squares. The flexed upper extremities extend forward with claws of only four digits, one of them opposed. The rump and tail of the crocodile have a crest of five truncated isosceles triangles. It has a suspension ring on the back below the neck. Conte Style
